Support local restaurants; get fat.

The Globe‘s Daily Dose reports on a Tufts study on calorie counts in mom and pop restaurants: “Small restaurants that don’t report calories appear to be worst restaurants of all,” said study co-author Susan Roberts, director of the energy metabolism laboratory at the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University. “They make fast food look like health food.”
