Here’s from the Boston Business Journal
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center has finally announced its new CEO, Dr. Kevin Tabb, weeks after the news became Boston health care’s worst kept secret. Tabb is currently the chief medical officer at Stanford Hospital & Clinics in Stanford, Calif. He will succeed Eric Buehrens, who has been interim president and CEO since January 2011, when former CEO Paul Levy stepped down.
Tabb, 47, said his first order of business will be to review the hospital’s strategic plan, and then barrel ahead with it, including evaluating potential merger or affiliation opportunities.
