Dr. Christine Yoshinaga-Itano has been researching language, speech, and social-emotional development of deaf and hard-of-hearing infants and children for over 30 years. Jarrett Barrios served for 9 years in the Massachusetts legislature, and is the first Latino and first openly gay man elected to the state Senate. He is known for his work on marriage equality, anti-bullying education, and creating safe environments for LGBT youth. Talk followed by Q&A session and reception. Free and open to the public.
