Free markets and this week’s Health Wonk Review

See Nature Network Boston for a roundup of stories about conservative activist David Koch, who was at MIT this week. Yesterday, the school dedicated a new building for the cancer research program that bears Koch’s  name in recognition of  his $100 million donation.

And, speaking of defenders of the free market, the latest edition of Health Wonk Review is  hosted by the Lucidicus Project which “advocates for free-market solutions to health reform. We write articles and raise money to provide books to medical students, nursing students, and others entering healthcare.”

In other words, good-bye Medicare and Medicaid and hello Ayn Rand.

We’ve added them to our list of health policy links. Ideologically, they should sit closer to FreedomWorks, but alphabetically, they land right next to Physicians for a National Health Plan.
