Notable and local links in health reform round-up

Every two weeks, the roving Health Wonk Review offers the best of the health blogs. These are not people ranting about government-run medicine or the collapse of the health reform effort. (Well, one of  the latter, but he doesn’t really rant.) But these guys, for the most part,  have thoughtful things to say about the current, fluid state of health reform. Take note of the posts on salaries for specialists, heath information technology and a post from Bruce Bullen, the Interim CEO at Harvard Pilgrim, who claims the Senate’s final health reform bill will increase costs.

The round-up also includes comments on Atul Gawandes’ New Yorker piece which suggests health reformers should take a lesson from agriculture reform.  Finally, Boston-based consultant Dave Williams offers some solutions to the nursing shortage,
